Palm Sunday. It is the day that we remember and celebrate the day Jesus entered into Jerusalem as Savior and King. Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent, the beginning of Holy Week, and commemorates the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, days before he was crucified.

Not only do Catholics often process into the Church with palms on Palm Sunday, but we read about Jesus' procession into. It is really funny to stop and think about it. Palm Sunday is known as such because the faithful will often receive palm fronds which they use to participate in the reenactment of Christ's arrival in Jerusalem.
